About MakerDate:
MakerDate is a remix of a date auction that pairs local Makers with curious skill-seekers. It’s like a playdate for grownups where you get to meet a local expert and learn how to make something new. Attendees place bids in the Live and Silent Auctions to connect with a local expert who will guide them on a making adventure. Bid to learn how to code your own video game, brew your style of beer, or create a mural with the creative community of Pittsburgh — the possibilities are endless! MakerDate is an amazing opportunity to connect with fellow artists, makers, and technologists.
All funds raised at MakerDate directly support Assemble’s STEAM education programs for youth, teens, and adults.
