Development and Marketing Manager

Assemble is looking for a Development and Marketing Manager to join the Assemble team!

The primary role of the Development and Marketing Manager is to oversee Assemble’s annual fundraising and marketing schedule, with a focus on managing donor communications, planning the annual MakerDate event, and overseeing the strategies for Giving Tuesday and End-of-Year fundraising campaigns, along with strategizing fundraising initiatives to support programs throughout the year. This position will lead all individual and corporate giving efforts, expanding support across the Pittsburgh philanthropic community. This role is managed by and works with the Executive Director.

Marketing Intern

Assemble is looking for a Marketing Intern to begin in Spring or Summer 2024. This is an upaid position–perfect for college/grad students looking for career experience in marketing and communications!

Development Intern

Assemble is seeking an enthusiastic student to serve as the Development Intern for the summer of 2023. This internship is an opportunity to work on development, fundraising, and donor management projects that will have a true impact on the sustainability of the organization. The Development Intern
will report directly to and work closely with the Grant Writer and Coordinator and development team. The work is to be completed at our space at 4824 Penn Ave and can also be completed remotely.
Some off-site meetings might occur.

Board of Directors

Assemble is a nonprofit dedicated to fostering learning and creativity, is searching for committed and enthusiastic individuals to join their board of Directors.

Directors provide leadership in the oversight and execution of Assemble’s Strategic Plan in a volunteer yet purposeful capacity.

Board Members are the decision-makers and ambassadors of the organization. It is important that they share Assemble’s vision for arts, STEAM education, the Maker movement, and community outreach. Board candidates should be ready to help the organization grow as part of a working Board.
