Part-Time Offsite Teacher

Assemble Teachers are responsible for planning and delivering
engaging, STEAM-based programs in-person. They actively engage to build a culture of making and inquiry. They work with and report back to the Program Managers on Assemble’s current program offerings, to explore new program opportunities, and to help expand the organization’s capacity to fulfill its mission and vision.

Adult Learning Coordinator and Teacher

The Adult Learning Coordinator (ALC) and Teacher is responsible for
developing, planning, coordinating, and teaching programs geared towards adult learners. Adult learning programs include internal and external professional development as well as 21+ events and space rentals. This role will also maintain and train staff on Assemble equipment. This position works collaboratively with the In-House team and other Assemble staff. This position will be scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, with occasional evenings.

Marketing Intern

Assemble is looking for a Marketing Intern. This person will be working both remotely and in person over the spring and/or summer of 2023. The Marketing Intern will be working closely with our Marketing and Development Manager and Development Associate. This intern will also be working with other interns and other Assemble staff throughout the summer. This role is integral to our programs as it supports our outreach and recruitment efforts. This role is ideal for creative folks with ideas in reaching community members in authentic and innovative ways.

Development Intern

Assemble is seeking an enthusiastic student to serve as the Development Intern for the summer of 2023. This internship is an opportunity to work on development, fundraising, and donor management projects that will have a true impact on the sustainability of the organization. The Development Intern will report directly to and work closely with the Grant Writer and Coordinator and development team. The work is to be completed at our space at 4824 Penn Ave and can also be completed remotely. Some off-site meetings might occur.

Event Planning Intern

Assemble is looking for an Event Planning Intern. This person will be working both remotely and in person over the summer of 2023. The Event Planning Intern will be working closely with our Development Associate and the Events Committee. The primary task of this intern will be to assist with the planning of MakerDate, Assemble’s bi-annual fundraising event which will take place on September 9.

Board of Directors

Assemble is a nonprofit dedicated to fostering learning and creativity, is searching for committed and enthusiastic individuals to join their board of Directors.

Directors provide leadership in the oversight and execution of Assemble’s Strategic Plan in a volunteer yet purposeful capacity.

Board Members are the decision-makers and ambassadors of the organization. It is important that they share Assemble’s vision for arts, STEAM education, the Maker movement, and community outreach. Board candidates should be ready to help the organization grow as part of a working Board.
