Space Rental

Assemble is a community space for arts and technology located at 4824 Penn Avenue. Our space has been rented for meet-ups, performances, classes, community meetings, student events, and pop-up shows.

Space rentals are available Monday-Friday 7:00-10:00pm and Saturdays 9:00am-12:00pm or 4:00-7:00pm.

Assemble Rental Fees

  • $150 for Private events and events that charge admission (up to 3 hours).
  • $75 for events organized by nonprofits or collectives (up to 3 hours). Examples include poetry readings, workshops, potlucks, etc.
  • $50 for Garfield residents (up to 3 hours).
  • Events longer than 3 hours will be charged $25 for each additional hour.

Amenities

  • Assemble’s studio can fit 20 people for banquet style seating, 45 people for lecture style seating, and 60 people for standing room only.
  • Wifi available.
  • Furniture available to use includes 45 chairs, 6 folding tables, a bar table with 4 bar stools, and a projector and screen available to use while renting the space.

Requirements

  • Events must end no later than 10pm.
  • No smoking allowed within 5 ft from the entrance door.
  • All artwork displayed in the gallery will remain displayed during rentals and will be respected. Renters will be liable for damages to artwork.

Set-Up and Cleaning

  • Renters are responsible for cleaning the space before you leave. Assemble has brooms, mops, and cleaning supplies available onsite.
  • All trash and recycling must be taken out to the dumpster at the end of the event.
  • Assemble staff are available to clean-up after your event for an additional $50 clean-up fee.
