Hair Pride Day Camp

Assemble 4824 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA

1st-3rd Graders will spend a day learning about black hair pride, watch Oscar winning short film Hair Love by Matthew A. Cherry, learn about the CROWN Act, and create a reflective art piece with various textures of Afro style hair. Free to Garfield residents, scholarships available to non-residents.
