First Fridays: Unblurred

March 4 @ 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Join us on the first Friday of each month from 6-10pm for Unblurred, a monthly gallery exhibition at Assemble. Each month, a different local artist will showcase their work in our 4824 Penn Ave Gallery.

With Unblurred, Assemble seeks to elevate the work of artists and makers in the Garfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh, with a special focus on artists with a social justice or community-oriented practice, work with new media, MFA candidates, African American, LGBTQA+, and other minority Artists/Makers/Technologists.

In March, our gallery will feature an exhibit by Nola Mims called Dreamscape.

Pittsburgh-based artist, Nola Mims, has been developing a research-based artistic process over the past 5 years. With a BA in Psychology and Studio Arts, they use theories of the psyche, identity, and social justice to inform their work. Through photography, sculpting, and other mediums, Nola explores identity as a psychological and aesthetic concept.
