On March 24th from 5-7pm join Assemble and guest artist Diarra Imani in Spoken word. Spoken destiny.
Youth Maker Night is a free, monthly workshop for students in grades 5-8. Make new friends in a community setting while participating in hands-on STEAM projects led by Guest Experts.
No experience required, just bring yourself and an excitement for learning.
On March 24th from 5-7pm join Assemble and guest artist Diarra Imani in Spoken word. Spoken destiny.
Students will be guided through a story led by Diarra Imani. Through this story students will explore rage-releasing meditations, joy mantras and spoken word that compliments their maker activity: a framed poem that they will author and design with affirmations. Students are encouraged to take their art home. The workshop will incorporate storytelling, yoga, poetry, and a maker activity.
