Calling all after school artists, budding engineers, and young makers!

Wednesday Afterschool is a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, & Math) program for kids in grades 3-5 that give kids a space to learn through making, testing out wild ideas, and building a better future. Join Assemble teachers for afterschool from 4:00pm-6:00pm at our Penn Avenue studio.

Every last Wednesday of the month through May 2024 will now by Brick by Brick Club!

During Brick Club, children take part in team-based activities and work together to build a LEGO model, taking turns to play different roles (called the Engineer, Supplier and Builder) until the model is built. Building together involves joint decision-making, communication, social interaction, motor skills, creativity, imagination, problem-solving and much more! Over time, children develop a sense of community and belonging through their shared interest in playing with LEGO bricks.

Who is Brick Club for? Children and young people of all ages who enjoy building LEGO models.

What is the Brick-by-Brick® program? The Brick-by-Brick® program methodology was created by Play Included to help education and healthcare professionals support children’s social and emotional wellbeing and skills development in a playful, low-anxiety and child-led way. It is the only programme in the field of therapeutic LEGO brick play that is endorsed by the LEGO Foundation.

Afterschool is FREE!
