21 + Queer Craft Nights: Improv Quilting

Learn basic sewing techniques for improvisational patchwork: a messy and sometimes unpredictable method of connecting scraps together to form a larger piece of fabric. Practice cutting and attaching organic and geometric shapes. Sew by hand or try out the sewing machine to create an improv quilt block or wall hanging. No experience with the sewing machine is necessary, just curiosity and a desire to learn!
