Assemble provides custom STEAM-based in-school and afterschool lessons, workshops, and classes all across Pittsburgh! Our hands-on curriculum promotes curiosity, problem-solving, and discussion, and makes connections with STEAM careers and the everyday. With Assemble, youths are able to practice and apply concepts through hands-on creative projects.
Our lessons are designed to support in-school learners and teachers in building off the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), and PA K–12 learning and social justice standards. This multi-dimensional approach provides a deeper connection to the learning for the student, presenting classroom content in a new context.
