Hudson Rush searches for a true home through poetry and visual art. Follow her journey through worry of past mistakes and fear of the future, forever struggling to stay in the present moment. Hudson admits, “I am not here.” Are you?

Pittsburgh-based multidisciplinary artist Hudson Rush works in a number of mediums, though not as numerous as the areas in which she’s resided. From DuBois to State College, California, Charleroi, Swisshelm Park, Beechview, Plum, Wilkinsburg, Troy Hill and Green Tree, Hudson continues the journey through poetry, performance, photography and film. As Mattress Factory’s Education Outreach Coordinator, Hudson finds her most peaceful moments helping youth create art. When left to her own devices, she continues the search for a way to remain present in a hectic mind and an even more hectic world.
