Our Birthday Party Program runs from September through May. 

We are not able to host birthday parties from June 2 – August 25.

Garfield Resident Birthday Party $150




Assemble's Custom Birthday Party Package includes:

  • Exclusive space rental for 2 hours
  • 2 custom hands-on projects facilitated by 2 Assemble Teachers
  • Accommodation for 15 children (additional participating children are $10 each. We are not able to accommodate more than 20 students per birthday party)
  • Take-home goodie bags with toys and Assemble swag
  • Assemble decorations

We do not provide food and drink, so please plan to provide your own. Please note that we are a peanut-free space.

We host birthday parties on Sundays between 10am-9pm. Please use the form below to request a birthday party!

Dates fill up fast, so complete the request form to reserve your party! Please request a birthday party at least one month in advance.

Robotics Shop Shindig: Are you ready for robots to take over the world? Or maybe just your upcoming birthday party? At our Robotics Shop Shindig birthday party, guests will explore STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) as they complete simple hands-on robotics projects! Possible projects include:

  • Draw Bots/Brush Bots
  • Reused Material Robot Art

 

Out-of-this-World Birthday Bash: How many times have you traveled around the sun to get to this birthday? Assemble’s Out-Of-This-World Birthday Bash takes guests on a crafty journey through outer space! They’ll use STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) throughout their journey, exploring the mysteries of the universe and making galactic goodies to take home. Possible projects include:

  • Space Slime
  • LED Constellation Art
  • Solar System Mobiles

 

Rainbow Rager: Get on the same wavelength as Assemble and make all your rainbow dreams come true! At our Rainbow Rager birthday party, guests will participate in hands-on, STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) projects with a ROYGBIV twist. Possible projects include:

  • Thermochromic (heat-sensitive, color-changing) Paint Patches
  • Marbled Milk Paper
  • Rainbow Tessellations

 

Mini Scientist Soiree: Are you a mini scientist? Celebrate your birthday in scientific style with Assemble’s Mini Scientist Soiree birthday party. Guests will get messy with STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) as they develop a scientist persona and engage in kitchen chemistry experimentation. Possible projects include:

  • Mini Slime Explosions
  • Invisible Ink Messages
  • Chromatography Flowers

 

STEAM Studio Party: Want a sampling of all Assemble’s STEAM goodness on your birthday? The exploratory STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) project possibilities are endless! Explore anything from kitchen chemistry to artsy engineering challenges. Possible projects include:

  • Gak-Making
  • Reused Material Sculpture Design
  • Art Bots

 

Biology Bash: Get ready to get dirty as we celebrate our love of all things nature and environment. Make seed balls to beautify your neighborhood, and create art out of plants to decorate your own home. Possible other projects include recyclable planters, DIY water filters, nature ID zines, and making our own paper from scratch! Possible projects include:

  • Seed balls
  • Self-watering recyclable planters
  • Make-your-own paper out of recycled paper
  • Slime suncatchers
  • Birdseed ornaments
  • Nature ID zines
  • Vegetable cross-section prints
  • DIY paint or dye with discarded fruits + vegetables

Wizard Academy: Young witches and wizards can design their own magical curriculum at our very own Wizard Academy. Take a Potions Class and make bath bombs, create your own mythical creature to take home in Care of Magical Creatures, or make a wand that can light up and levitate objects as part of Charms Class. Real magic or science at work? Possible projects include:

  • Potions Class: age-appropriate chemistry experiments, bath bombs, or slime
  • Herbology: seed balls, vegetable prints, DIY paint, DIY planters
  • Care of Magical Creatures: stuffed animal take-apart and reassembly, unicorn blood slime
  • Transfiguration: glow in the dark slime, magnetic slime, invisible ink
  • Charms: LED + magnetic wands, magnet levitation, sun prints
  • Divination: mason jar snow globe “crystal balls”, paper marbling and printmaking + interpreting
  • Defense Against the Dark Arts: wandmaking, patronus printmaking, amulet/jewelry design

Engineering Extravaganza: Little engineers can put their minds and hands to work in a series of challenges to build the highest and tallest structure, the silliest Rube Goldberg machine, or the kookiest catapult. Possible projects also include woodworking, laser cutting, 3D printing, spectroscope design, and circuit art. Possible projects include:

  • Engineering challenges: toothpicks and marshmallows, straws and masking tape, paper rolling/folding
  • Rube Goldberg machine design with PVC pipes and marbles
  • Simple machine design: pulley, catapult, zip line, steam engine
