Jakob’s work aims to add aesthetic and experiential value to a place by pulling from both traditional and contemporary materials and techniques. He combines wood, metal and acrylic with carbon fiber, LEDs and electronics and forms those materials with saws, hammers, CNC mills and 3D printers. With a skill-set spanning computation, dynamic lighting, sound, computer vision and fabrication, Jakob creates work that people can interact with, observe and discover.
