We’re offering up more community gardening and local food goodness this week! Join us for hands-on activities led by Garfield’s very own Healcrest Urban Farm and Assemble teacher LaToya Williams. With the help of Healcrest, we’ll make popsicles using local fruit and herbs, and we’ll learn about their health-building and healing properties.
Saturday Crafternoons promote hands-on learning and community engagement through free, drop-in workshops with local makers and community partners. Each month, we’ll host a series of fun, educational workshops that involve collaboration, skill-building, and neighborhood connections. Weekly attendance isn’t required, but it’s encouraged!
