THE TYPICAL STUDIO MODEL IS ONE OF ENCLOSURE AND PRIVACY.
The general public seldom has the opportunity to engage with the artist-at-work because studios are often shut off to them. For the month of March artist Seth Clark will be converting Assemble into his work environment, inviting the community to come participate in the artistic process. With an emphasis on mark-making and collage Clark will not only use this studio as he would his own, but lead various workshops that highlight some of his personal techniques and that focus on productivity through mass collaboration. Check below for a list of scheduled events!
If your organization or classroom might be interested in a private workshop/ field trip to OPEN STUDIO do not hesitate to contact Seth at email@example.com. He is more than open to collaborating on a lesson plan or designing specific activities that suit the age and focus of your group!
