February Unblurred Showcase: Mind the Gap
Works by Benjamin Delano
February 1-22
“These words are the gaps, and the art was my solution.”
Benjamin Delano grew up with dyslexia, mixing up similar letters and spelling phonetically. He experienced gaps in his education. He filled these gaps by exploring creative playing, building, and making. Through this art exhibit, Delano wants the audience to experience his struggle with spelling through his concentration in craft and creativity.
Join Assemble on Friday, February 1 from 6-10pm to meet the artist, learn about the art process, and enjoy refreshments!
