Join us July 18 to learn about Metal with Oreen Cohen! Hit the street with sheets of metal tooling, aluminum, and wooden tools to trace the impressions of architecture. Children will wire together each of the panels to create silver topographic tapestries. By looking closer, exploring spaces, and tracing those experiences, children will learn about the uniqueness of place. Register here!
Looking for something for your summer Saturday afternoons? M3 (Materials, Media, and Me) is Assemble’s summertime Saturday program, running from 1pm-4pm. It’s a drop-in program for kids 8-12 to get to know the material world around them! At M3, students learn experientially as local experts guide them through the design process. Each week, a different artist or technologist will introduce a material, show students how they use the material, and lead them through a project.
