Interested in computer science? Programming? Game design? Then join Assemble for Game Design Camp Thursday, April 13th, 9:00 am-4:00 pm. Students will learn to build a virtual game using Scratch programming language. Scratch is a free programming language and online community where you can create your own interactive stories, games, and animations. Scratch is an excellent introduction to video game design and programming. This camp is great for beginner programmers, storytellers and kids who enjoy playing video games. Learn how to build your own video games with the guidance of Assemble staff.
Campers will receive: Scratch login to continue games beyond camp!
*The $50 fee for campers from our home neighborhood will be waived. Children and tweens who reside in Garfield are invited to join us for free. If you need a scholarship, please email Nina@assemblepgh.org. Assemble’s scholarships are “Pay-what-you-can.”
