June 7th: A Fun-Filled Night at Assemble!

Help us celebrate tonight by bringing yourself, and we’ll be bringing pizza and snacks as a thank-you to all of our friends!

From 6-8 pm we’ll be showcasing the work of our MakeIt and Saturday Crafternoon youth program participants. Then from 8-10 pm, we have an open house to celebrate all of the volunteers who have helped at Assemble, to welcome new faces, and show what we’re all about! Check out the full description of each event below.

Want to see what Assemble’s youth program participants have been up to this school year? Eager to learn more about our STEAM youth programs in general? Join us for an epic showcase and open house, featuring the work of Saturday Crafternoon and MakeIt! kids. We’ll have 3D-printed tessellations, laser-cut puzzles, Garfield postcards, Frankenpets, and more!

This event is free and open to our friends and neighbors of all ages! Snacks provided.

Assemble volunteers! We want to give you a big hug for making our craziest schemes come true. Thank you for your unending support, unmatched smarts, and constant willingness to pitch in!

Volunteerapalooza is all about YOU – our volunteers! We want to celebrate the end of this amazing program year by demoing some Make-n-Take activities (spoiler alert: electric jewelry), snacking pizza, and slurping an adult beverage or two!

BTW – this is a great opportunity to stop in and see what Assemble is all about. Meet other volunteers, say hey to our board members and play Super Mario Bros with a giaaaaaant NES controller!

Our programs (including summer camps) depend on volunteers to take photos, greet parents, and make things with our students. It is a ton of fun and we would love to tell you more about it!

See you soon!!!!!
