Hi – I’m Anya.  I’m an artist, metalsmith, and small business owner.  My jewelry brand Mod Evil features clean, bold wearables that express empowerment and a love of minimalist design.  I’ve studied metalworking at Carnegie Mellon University, Lorenzo De’Medici in Florence, Italy, and the Society for Contemporary Craft right here in Pittsburgh, and I want to share my jeweler’s skills with you!

The power of the maker is the power of agency; the ability to break the boundaries of what’s commercially available and make exactly what you want.  Jewelry is about far more than accessorizing; body ornamentation has been with us for all of human history, as a means to communicate wordlessly and cross-culturally with other people.  Take the power of fashion into your own hands and make a statement with me.
